Workforce Solutions Raises Thousands of Dollars for the March for Babies 2016

Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend (WFSCB) will present a check to the March of Dimes during an Employee Recognition Presentation on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sunrise Career Center located at 5858 S.P.I.D., Ste. 1 in Corpus Christi, Texas. WFSCB “Super Stars” will be acknowledged and the total dollar amount will be unveiled at this event.

The culmination of WFSCB employee-driven fundraising events led right up to the March for Babies Walk this past Saturday on May 14th. Over the last six months, 100+ employees participated in some form or fashion, in many of the creative fundraisers designed to raise awareness and raise money for the March for Babies 2016 campaign. From chicken spaghetti luncheons and loaded baked brisket potatoes to silent auctions, scratch off raffles, and a snack bar cart – their enthusiasm in supporting the concept of “cradle to career” grew even stronger and motivated the team to come up with even more creative fundraisers to support the cause.

Please join us in recognizing the WFSCB Super Stars and the unveiling of the total dollar amount that will be presented in an oversized check to the March of Dimes.
