Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend Announces Summer Earn & Learn Signing Day, Empowering Students with Disabilities & Supporting Local Employers

Coastal Bend, TX – Wednesday, June 5, 2024 – In collaboration with Texas Workforce Solutions – Vocational Rehabilitation Services, WFSCB is thrilled to announce the Summer Earn & Learn Signing Day, the kickoff event for the Summer Earn & Learn Program. This innovative program facilitates connections between employers and enthusiastic students with disabilities, ages 16-22, who are prepared to join a team and contribute to the workforce.

The Summer Earn & Learn Program offers a 5-week Paid Summer Internship opportunity, providing no-cost training and hourly wages to support students with disabilities or potential disabilities across the Coastal Bend region.
