Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend (WFSCB) is excited to announce the biggest career exploration event of the year for high school students – YOU (Youth Opportunities Unlimited) Choose! Career Expo on May 11th from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.

This Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) event launches a new career pathways strategy targeting our high school students throughout the Coastal Bend region. It will help expose our future workforce to in-demand occupations in high-growth industries and provide a hands-on interactive exploration of career pathways.

Top industries represented are Business, Healthcare, Professional Skills & Trades and Public Service. Over 1,500 high school students and 54 employers have pre-registered to attend the event.

YOU! Provides guidance to youth on in-demand careers and is designed to allow participants to experience careers through on-going, meaningful career exploration and subsidized employment activities. Additional services include:
