Project ELI - Emerging Leaders Initiative

The Emerging Leaders Initiative provides year-round support and career counseling to Coastal Bend young adults ages 16-24. Career Counselors are available to assist in overcoming barriers to education and employment.

The initiative provides guidance on in-demand careers throughout the Coastal Bend and allows participants to experience these careers through on-going, meaningful career exploration and subsidized employment activities. These activities are designed to immerse emerging leaders into the world of work.

Emerging Leaders also receive certification from Del Mar College through the Career Ready Workforce Certification Program, which in four days, empowers participants with "soft skills" that employers find an integral and necessary part of everyday business.

Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend serves the 12 county Coastal Bend region and invests in our regional economic success through access to jobs, training, and youth services.

If you are interested in learning more about Project ELI, please contact Baldo Hinojosa or Desiree Lara at 361.906.0705. In addition, local office and contact information provided on the Emerging Leaders Flyer.
